Ready to do a little shopping in Old Town AND support your favorite charity at the same time?
Then join us this Saturday, May 18, 2013 for the Old Town Boutique District's 3rd annual Boutiques Give Back Day – a community focused event where the retail members of the Old Town Boutique District come together for one day to support local charities. It is the largest business-charity collaboration in the DC Metro area, and, as a new member of the Boutique District family, Coco is honored to be a part of it.

At Coco Blanca, we will be supporting ACT for Alexandria, a community foundation whose aim is to raise the level and effectiveness of community engagement and giving for the benefit of all Alexandria. Working with existing service agencies and non-profits, ACT continually raises local philanthropic giving and fundraising to new levels, and makes sure to allocate both the time and money raised where they will do the most good and have a deeper impact in our community.
When you make a purchase on Saturday, May 18, Coco Blanca will donate 15% of the proceeds to ACT for Alexandria in order to help make a difference in the Alexandria community, because Coco loves her new home.
And remember, we're not the only ones in on the action! Over 30 members of the Old Town Boutique District will be participating in this amazing Alexandria-wide shopping event, benefiting charities such as the Foundation for Women's Cancer (at Lou Lou Boutique), The Reading Connection (at The Christmas Attic), Community Lodgings Inc (at Zoe Boutique) and Alzheimer’s Association (at Mint Condition), amongst others.
So, definitely head down to Old Town this weekend. You shop, we donate and together we can make a positive impact. What more could you ask for?
We hope to see you all next Saturday!
